Eggplant
A warm-season crop, is among the easiest veggies to grow. It also ranks among the most beautiful, and the prettiest rarely makeit to the supermarket - smooth, glossy
globes, teardrops, half-moons or eggs in pink, green, yellow, white,
lavender, violet and multicolors.

Instructions: Things Choose the sunniest site you can find for eggplant. Soil should be fertile, well-drained and rich in organic matter, with a pH of 5.8 to 6.8. Eggplant also needs a lot of
calcium, so add lime to the soil before you plant. transplant
them to the garden when all danger of frost has passed and the soil temp. has reached 60º.

Rosita Eggplant #GHE1
80 days. Pinkish, lavender fruits are 6-8” long and 3 4” wide. White, sweet flesh all the way to the skin. Brought from Puerto Rico. Beautiful rose color. Hearty 2-3 ft plants, Mod water, moderate sun.
Udumalapet Thai Eggplant#GHE2
-75-85 days. Beautiful striped egg plant. Heavy yields of teardrop-shaped fruits are green and vibrant with lavender stripes and striking green calyxes. Best eaten small, when fruits are around 3” long. Heavy producer.
Black Beauty Eggplant #GHE3
-80 days. This variety is nearly 100 years old, and still well loved as the classic big-fruited black eggplant. Glossy fruits become quite large, well shaped, and perfect for slicing and grilling or eggplant Parmesean.
Ichiban -Eggplant #GHE4
-68 days. Long, slender deep purple, almost black, of Asian origin,
and have wonderful, mild flavor, perfect for Oriental dishes or
simply splitting and grilling or roasting. Very productive and feature foliage with a purple tinge as well as fruit with a purple calyx.
Green Goddess Italian Eggplant #GHE5
-68 days. Hybrid. Incredible harvests of light green slender eggplant that become about 8 inches long. Mild flavor and tremendous production make this a winner for anyone who wants a steady supply of delicious eggplant. Lovely lime green color.
Neon Eggplant#GHE6
3-4” eggplant ripening to a bright, neon deep pink color (picture is of unripe fruits). Early ripening, in just 60-65 days, good flavor, plants are heavy bearers.
