Rosa Bianca Eggplant #GHE1 80 days. Pinkish, lavender fruits are 6-8” long and 3 4” wide. White, sweet flesh all the way to the skin. Brought from Puerto Rico. Beautiful rose color. Hearty 2-3 ft plants, Mod water, moderate sun.
Listada De Gandia#GHE2 Heirloom from France about 1850. This egg-shaped Italian beauty has 5 to 6in. long fruits, purple with irregular white-stripes. A unique eggplant pleasing to both the eye and the palate. Appears to have some drought tolerance and sets fruit well under high heat. Mature plants set well under high heat and tolerate drought well. Does best in areas with a long warm growing season. The thin skin of 'Listada de Gandia' does not need to be peeled for cooking. 85 Days.
-80 days. This variety is nearly 100 years old, and still well loved as the classic big-fruited black eggplant. Glossy fruits become quite large, well shaped, and perfect for slicing and grilling or eggplant Parmesean.
-68 days. Long, slender deep purple, almost black, of Asian origin, and have wonderful, mild flavor, perfect for Oriental dishes or simply splitting and grilling or roasting. Very productive and feature foliage with a purple tinge as well as fruit with a purple calyx.
